And FYI I did not get my info from looking at the skin of the 3 men.  I actually READ the article where it told what the races were.  NONE of the 3 are listed as being white.  Only the one that was arrested first.

Basically it seems that is what you implied. Doesn't matter. Not going to argue. I am not going by the mugshot. I was going by the story on Yahoo. I will see if I can find it and give you the link.  They list the "race" of each one and only the first one arrested is listed as white.

I can say I am proud of where I live.  Blacks and Whites are friendly to each other and not participating in this nonsense.  There is one or two trying to stir up trouble and they are quickly being shut down. No one around here is interested in the crazy going on every where else and we will not let it happen here.  They tried to come in from some where else and do a demonstration.  And a few showed up.  But nobody gave them attention.  So no spot light there is no sense in being here.

I will look for that link so you can see what I am talking about and where I got that from.

I read somewhere that George Floyd had passed a phony 20 dollar bill, not that he wrote a counterfeit check. But whatever it is he did, it was a minor incident over 20 dollars that caused him to lose his life. Just awful. He had already done his time for prior arrests.

He used a counterfeit $20 to buy cigarettes. He was confronted and asked to give the cigarettes back. He refused. So the clerk called the police.  One thing that does not make sense is supposedly the clerk said the ink was still running on the fake money.  If that is true why did she not refuse it to start with? Why did she take it and wait til he was outside and then go and ask for the cigarettes back?  I have worked retail and we had to check money when it was handed to us.  Not after they went outside. And we were also told not to ever go outside after someone.

You are right in that he had done the time for the past crimes but that is going to be brought up. Just like everything else in anyone's past is brought up again and again.

The other "White" police officer, Thomas Lane, was a rookie cop that was on something like his 4th shift as a full fledged cop.

Not everything is because of Racism... sometimes it's just bad cops & really bad police standards/regulations within the inner working of the police department itself.  I'm not for defunding the police, but I am definitely for restructuring & periodic mental health assessments - hopefully that is included.

I feel for George Floyd as well, he shouldn't have had to die the way he did. BUT, lets not forget that he held a gun to a pregnant woman's stomach so that he and his thugs could rob her house. I wouldn't put him up on a pedestal either.
