Do you really want to go back to work?

Yes, because I am retired so I worked as a substitute teacher; but being in that role I had the flexibility to work when and where I wanted to  so it was not the same as it had been when I was working full time in my career; besides I miss the interaction with the children they are a joy!

I sure dont want to go back, my husband and I go to nursing homes to give residents an activity. My husband has a very weak heart and I have asthma. I am scared to go back and some of the homes have told me they have residents with the virus. Im afraid to go back til there is a vaccine.
My daughter and I are also doing a side thing from home and making just as much as working.

I haven't stopped working since this all began. I think I would have lost my mind if I didn't have to go into the office everyday.

Yes!  You have to go back to work!!!!  When your company determines it's safe, they need you back!! 

I've been in our office working every day since this situation began.  I missed my vacation, worked extra hours (without extra pay because I'm salaried) and now I've going to "lose" my vacation time because I wasn't able to take time off and use it. 

I'm sure you somewhat enjoyed some of this time off, but the rest of us who have been doing everyone's jobs and keeping businesses afloat are tired and need you to return.  I won't get any time off when our non-essential workers return, but at least I can go back to just doing my own work.

lol I doubt anybody would work if they could just have money magically deposited in to their checking account. Enough to pay their bills and have what ever they wanted.  If I had a billion dollars I would buy property out in the country, as long as I could still have internet access, and be happy going to town once a month for groceries.

I would buy an island in the Atlantic ocean. Not too far south that it would be hot, but not too far north that it would get inundated with snow and cold. It would be a couple acres but not overly large and close enough to the U.S. that I could reach it if necessary for emergencies. I could have my supplies delivered if necessary or go get them myself. With today's satelites, TV and internet wouldn't be much a problem either.  Dream on, right?

For me, I want to go back to work but I think it is still not safe to go back. I'd rather stay home than take the risk.

Well see there is a problem with that. I already thought of that one. BUT then when a hurricane comes through and blows all my stuff all over the ocean I am not going to be too happy.   I think the more inane this world gets the more people dream about stuff like that.

i haven't stop working i have to go in even though one of my coworkers is working form home everyday and the other has been missing a lot of work due to the COVID crisis

Exactly the dream I have been living for the last 20 years. All it takes is being debt free on Social Security.

Easy to be debt free when you live with somebody else.  And when I start drawing SS I would not call that money magically appearing in my account since I WORKED FOR THAT MONEY and it was basically STOLEN from my check every month.  It is the same with money earned working with these type sites. That is not free money. Unless you are cheating the system you probably put quite a bit of effort in to the money appearing in your site.

Its nice to have a few bucks and be debt free,but Jesus words are so true.

He said,"what good is it if a man gains the whole world,but cant save his own soul."

Kinda puts a damper on those think they are going to heaven.If that were the case dying should be welcomed.But its not!!The bible says clearly death is an enemy of men.

I'm retired so I don't have this issue but I as lucky to love my job and the people I worked with so look for  career you can enjoy

I'm not sure I would want to work but I would definitely want to do something. Working from home has been a drag, it feels like you are at work 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
