 ???    :P

Has anyone here taken a cruise?  I have not and am really sorry I didn't before all this happened as I am surely not going to try one now!

No I haven't.  I feel the same.  I used to want to travel.  Even bought a travel package deal.  Never used it.  Doesn't look like am ever going to.  Even before this virus, I started paying attention to what happens on ships.  Like the plumbing going wrong and stuff like that.  That deterred my ambition quite a bit.

My husband and I went on a honeymoon cruise 25 years ago, and we had the time of our lives on it! We didn't book many outside excursions, but we enjoyed the ship an awful lot. Between the fancy dining, the pools, and the off-Broadway shows we saw every night, it surely was a memorable time for the both of us! It makes me sad now that the cruise industry is hurting due to disease, natural disasters, and infrastructure problems within the ships. I probably would be to nervous to book a cruise any time in the next few years.  :peace:

My sister-in-law has tried to get me to take a cruise with her (BEFORE all this happened no since) but there is something about being out in the middle of the ocean that creeps me out.  I rarely leave my house so that should tell you something.  I would never go on a cruise now even if the powers that be said it was absolutely safe.

My husband and I went one since our marriage and I was so sea-sick that I never had the desire to go one again.  Guess it is a blessing because it keeps me off ships

I love cruises and have been on many.  After this virus and seeing all the passengers stuck on the ship for days, it will be a very very long time before I go on another cruise.

When I was younger I went on a cruise with a bunch of friends and we had a fantastic time!  Now that I'm older I have no interest on going one again.

I went on a Mississippi river cruise back in 1993, with my Mom and little nephew.  It was pretty boring for me at the time bc I was in my mid-thirties and most the passengers were seniors.   No TV,phone or internet, just some lame azz shows............thank GOD for BEER!   :turkey:

I haven't, but I might enjoy floating around on the ocean and visit new places...and eat a lot.

I have taken nearly 14 and always enjoyed it but will not be going for sometime after this virus news.  Seven days is about my limit on a ship and some of these people have been on one for over 50 days because they can't dock.

I have never been on a cruise ship, nor do I plan to.  Almost everyone in my family has been on cruises.  Not me-never.

I went on my first and one and only cruise about 14 or 15 years ago with my sister.  It was 5 days long and left from San Diego, CA, going down the coast of Baja Mexico with 2 stops.  It was pretty good but not so wonderful I was dying to do it again.  It was with Carnival.  I have since done research and if you can afford it, some of the more upscale, smaller cruise ships sound wonderful!  But it's all about what you want and can afford.

I went on  one and it was about the best vacation I ever had and I'm afraid of water and can't even try to swim but I loved the cruise and I think the cruise line you go on makes a lot of difference some are a lot better than others
