Why People Don't Following Social Distancing?

Do these people don't the HIGH risk of getting COVID 19! Men & women have gotten the COVID 19 including Doctors, nurses, firemen & police. Anyone can get it even senior citizen in retirement home. Please close down retirement homes for outside visitors.

Parts of California is not following social distancing - Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside & San Bernardino Counties! These places are on the highest of the state! 

Please stay 6 feet apart when your shopping in the grocery stores. Please stay home & be healthy!!

Unfortunately not everyone is following the social distancing. Some people don't believe it is a big deal and don't understand why the entire country has shut down. For me in particular I'm taking it seriously and am home for the most part. Lets see what happens! Stay safe and blessed everyone mmmmmm ya.

When in approximately 2 months, cases in the US rose from just a few (15 according to Trump which were going away any day) and over 63,000 deaths, I would say this is a consequential virus which has no vaccine or specific, effective treatment as yet.  Following social distancing rules are simply common sense, which some people are low on nowadays.

SOME people do not have a choice.  SOME people still have to work.  Every one does not have the option to "work from home" or just stay at home.  Everybody doesn't get unemployment plus $600 extra.  I don't go to town unless I have to but I am not going to hide in my house.  If we don't open the country back up we are going to be worse than a third world country and there won't be anything to reopen.

My town seems to be following the social distance requirements. People, who seems to be disobeying are mostly Trump followers. It's not my opinion, it's what I've seen in the new & online.

The ignorance of this country is too much.  Who you support politically has nothing to do with anything.  And the fact that idiots have to try to spout this all this time shows how foolish the country is.  You are right about one thing - this whole thing is politically motivated but not the way you think

Who knows. But I know that I hear and read a LOT of people saying that it's not as "bad" as we think it is. Yet I know people that have tested positive, they have family members that have suffered, family members that have died from it.   It is the real deal!

People die from the flu every year too.

People have no patience.  The Covid19 is still there until a vaccine is created.  Staying home except (for emergencies) Would be the best thing do is stay home to stay healthy.

Although at Walmart there was a B**ch this morning that tried to play hall monitor and correcting another shopper and she finally got told off. So then she runs to a cop in the store and tells on the other person. smh

Nothing regresses adults back to elementary school children on the playground like a good national/global crisis.

I am taking it very seriously. I am staying in. My husband goes to the store for us, he wears a mask. I have a lot of underlying conditions.

We have one store that has one way aisles with no passing that works pretty well. They may be lying to us, but I am not going to risk the few years I have left to live to find out. I am doing just fine staying home as long as I have the Internet.

Our grocery stores have all one way aisles and one door to enter and one to exit.  I’m with old buddy, I’m taking this seriously and not going to risk any years I have left.

I use walmart pickup most of the time, but I have had to go into the store a couple times and they have arrows and do not enter signs on the floor.

I have not been inside a store since all this started  overly cautious maybe  my choice  grocery pick up when needed

I know I should wear my mask when I go out, but that mask makes me feel like I'm choking to death.  I do wear it at the doctor's office because they require it.  Our local Wal-Mart and Food Lion has signs showing the one way down the aisles.  I do know that the Lowe's Home Improvement has been packed this whole time.  Can't believe that that many people need to buy items for home improvement at this time.

    Some people just do not understand public contamination: "Epidemics and pandemics".
They like overcrowded places and socialize with infected people. They do not understand:

I guess there will always be people that think that they're immortal and really can't conceive of a deadly virus since they can't see it with their naked eyes. I'm not sure what the truth is about the virus' virulence, but I for one don't want to be the guinea pig who find out by not social distancing! It's true that sometimes you can't help but get less than 6 feet from someone else (grocery store) and I know that the large majority of people don't even carry the virus, but a little common sense in these trying times can go a long way. 

Exactly what I think.  If you think you will not get sick, think again, maybe you are one of those that do not have symptoms but then think about your parents or grandparents or any family member that has some sort of illness that can make them more vulnerable.  You can not say NEVER me.  I believe that people, specially in the US is very selfish and I agree $$ is thigh but my health is also important.  My parents live in Panama, and over there the restrictions are very thigh, You can only leave your house for 1 hour based on the last digit of your ID, Women can go our Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, men can go out Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, Sundays NOBODY can go out.  Stores were banned from selling any type of ALCOHOL and their government is only providing them with $80 per family.  So think about that next time you  complain about USA restrictions.

Here it's mostly young people that don't social distance.  I think it has to do with the mind set.  Like when I was in my 20's and younger it didn't occur to me that I would get sick or die.  Thought I was going to feel that good and live for ever feeling that good.  Plus just not thinking about others or the possible consequences.  And as you see just in this thread.  People don't believe it.  Just sad.

As you can see by this thread, people don't believe it.  I feel like some here.  If wearing a mask or staying home helps I will do that.  I would hate myself if I was in some way responsible for some one getting sick or dying from this.  I also believe that it's the Trump cult that isn't getting it.  I don't personally know anyone that has tested positive for it.  I do know people that lost family members because of it.  So I will keep taking it seriously.
