What's your favorite genre of music

It's Classical for moi.      Classical music helps calm my nerves -- especially in the morning when you're fighting with rush hour traffic.

Though I prefer Rock and Metal, I'll listen to most things other than Rap/Hip Hop and Country.  I especially dislike rap, as all it sounds like is someone insulting me to a beat.  And if I want that, i'll just get my girl friend upset and turn on the radio in the background. At least that way I can enjoy the making up afterwards.

My favorite kind of music is classical, especially full symphony orchestra music. I don't like opera or music from Mozart or similar early composers. I also like country music, although I kind of pick and choose and don't really have a favorite artist.

Alternative Rock by far.  Toss in some Acoustic guitar and I'm sold.  He Is We and A Fine Frenzy are my current loves.
