This one for kids, they might wear it!  Since they can see and it doesn't look uncomfortable, I know the paper ones are hard to wear and breathe properly.

Texas girl, 15, collects 12,000 protective masks for hospital staff

Valerie Xu raised money through GoFundMe after learning about the need for masks across the US.

"There's been a growing need of PPE in local hospitals. ... Our family friend from Florida who was an ER doctor had to reuse the same mask for multiple weeks. ... This is like the first time in my lifetime that I've seen such a large crisis happen especially in a first-world country like the U.S. and it just showed me how much in need doctors and nurses are of PPE," she said.

Xu said that in March she began raising money for masks on a crowdfunding site. Thanks to social media, the campaign was shared across the state and many donated. She raised nearly $3,000 and a local company matched it.

She was able to collect thousands of masks and she delivered them to UT Southwestern Medical Center on April 24. She said the effort had raised her awareness about the different essential workers in her community.

7-year-old donates more than 6,000 masks, gloves and caps from hotels to hospital workers
"It's not just doctors and nurses who are helping ... it's everyone," such as first responders and grocery store workers, she said. "It just taught me the importance of these people. ... They're sacrificing their health."

I really like the cute mask for kids.  I would wear that one myself because I the fabric one against my nose go in and out and is uncomfortable.

This is the real deal, must read:

Nurse creates mask that may be better than the n95 model!

Good article on this click:
https://www.timesunion.com/news/article/This-nurse-didn-t-just-create-a-replacement-N95-15251017.php

At about $25 each, Tommye started with 12 filters. She bought three different models, cut through their paper and wire frames, and got to work.

https://www.ourmidland.com/news/article/This-nurse-didn-t-just-create-a-replacement-N95-15251017.php

Tommye's resume is crammed with credentials: R.N., Ph.D., MBA and NEA-BC (Nurse Executive Advanced-Board Certified).
Her title is senior vice president and chief nurse executive. Last year, the industry publication Modern Healthcare ranked her the nation's 38th most influential clinical executive. She's on the local board of the American Heart Association and Batz Patient Safety Foundation, and she volunteers with the March of Dimes.

N95s weren't intended for all-day use, so they tend to carve painful, unsightly marks into noses, cheeks and chins. Hers don't.

And hers might be better.

– The name N95 comes from the fact the masks filter 95% of airborne particles, such as viruses. Lab results show Tommye's masks block 96.5%.

Then she remembered what her late husband always said: "If you can't find something and you can't buy something, you make it."

Even with all her skills, the challenge of designing an N95 equivalent is something she would've outsourced to her husband, Fermon Austin.
Although he never went to college, Fermon had the mind of an engineer. He once built a machine to remove corn from its husk just to see if he could. He was a do-it-all, blue-collar worker who died last April 2 at age 64 due to heart failure. They were married 15 years and together for 20.

CNBC logoMIT engineers designed an affordable, reusable face mask that's as effective as an N95 — take a look

At the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, the shortage of N95 respirator masks presented a dire situation for the healthcare and frontline workers who needed them most. Essential workers who relied on N95 masks had no choice but to wear what were meant to be disposable N95 masks for weeks at a time. Some started disinfecting the masks to be redistributed and reused.

That is a little creepy somehow lol. But I do like the idea of being able to see people's faces more. It's so disorienting when you can't tell if someone is smiling and they can't tell if you're smiling.
