I've been in many kitchens with different colored appliances.  Actually, your KITCHEN appliances do match.  It's the one that often goes in a laundry room that is different.  Don't let the small stuff get to you.

We have both white and stainless steel appliances in our kitchen. I think those two colors compliment each other. Does anyone here remember when kitchen appliances (and washers and dryers) used to be harvest gold and avocado green? Now, those were the days, LOL!  :peace:
I had a harvest gold Maytag washer and dryer.... they were over 50 years old when I got rid of them (and they still worked) LOL  :rainbow:

We have all stainless steal/black but only because when we bought condo appliances were there. I would say go with what fits your budget; it's your house.

No but if anything is much cheaper and does the same thing I wouldn't be bothered much.

well, you saved 50 bucks so you should like that and why exactly is the washing machine in the kitchen. i guess that is the price you pay for trying to be frugal.

I used to have my washer and dryer in the kitchen in my previous home.  Now they are in the basement (a lot of going up and down stairs)LOL

I just think that it is great that your son bought the washer for you.  Focus on that when you look at it as opposed to matching of the appliances.

I have been in my house for 10 years, all my appliances were Almond color, then 1 day the dishwasher died and I got an SS one.  A few years after that the microwave died and got an SS to replace it.  About 3 years ago my stove died, and I got a Samsung SS stove to replace it.  The only odd appliance was the Refrigerator until last month when it finally died and I replace it with an SS so now my whole kitchen matches again.  As for the washer and drier I went with White ones a few years ago, but they are in the basement and do not bother me
