I've seen comments on other posts about people hoarding products so I guess this proves it. This is way over the top, though. I wish people would refuse to buy from sellers like this. The more I look at the pictures, the crazier it gets - he even bought allergy meds!

Most people are not 'hoarding".  Most people are buying what they need for an extended period of time being banned to their homes. A few are doing what this man done but most are not. So now if anybody buys stuff to stock up they are called a hoarder.

Maybe they are like this guy. Also, I did not say anything about "most people." No, people are only being called hoarders if they do what this man did, not if they are simply stocking up.

lol You are mighty defensive.  People have been yelling hoarding til it is irritating to hear the word. They don't even know what it means. I made a general statement. These brothers are an exception. MOST people are not hording. They are preparing for an 8 week stay in their home.  Which is now what the cdc is saying you need to do.  2 months is a long time to not be able to go to a store. People can also live with a lot less than they are accustomed to. You can live on one peanut butter sandwich a day if you had too.  Most people are fat anyway and need to lose weight. So it's all good.  It is insane to see what is going on though.  And I look for home break ins to pick up.  This can't end good.  And people need to start sticking together instead of just looking for reasons to fight with everybody.

Haha! Defensive where?

Also, Do you use the same format when commenting on my posts? I've replied once and can already see this going down an identical path as our last convo: 1) I comment on a post, 2) You reply to me and add what "most people" are doing, 3) I respond again, 4) You get offended and defensive, 5) I respond (again), 6) You pretend you're not offended/don't care when your responses insinuate otherwise, 7) This continues until I get bored of the convo and leave.

That is very selfish. What about other people who may need supplies. I'm glad there's a set limit of toilet paper, sanitizer and other supplies.

I went into Walmart last week and they had just gotten in the 3 oz travel sze. I picked up a few for each, my mom, my sister and my daughter and myself. I didn't want to be greedy, I figure I only need it if I am away from the house. The woman that works in the department said one lady came in and bought 50 of them. Two days later someone from the town was selling them on marketplace. She didn't list the price, I guess people had to PM her for it. But I'm sure she was selling it for a lot more than the $.97 that it was at Walmart.

He is a sorry piece of *bleep*. How ironic that he hoards all of that hand sanitizer and he ends up testing positive for the virus. Karma is a you-know-what, dude.

Where did you hear he is positive for the virus?  Do not think that is true at all.  And he uh you know donated ALL of the stuff he bought.

Crazy what people do during these situations....why can't he drive around around the country selling them or giving them away at decent prices? I'm sure he would still make some $....

From what I read about the brothers who stockpiled the 17,000 bottles of hand sanitizer is that they had planned to resell it on Amazon for a profit.  Retail Arbitrage is the name of it.  People do it all the time.  They investigate hot selling items to resell on Amazon.  They had no idea that the Corona virus threat would become a pandemic.
Now as the world is trying to navigate these uncertain times, the brothers are donating their supply.

That is a lot of hand sanitizers he has. He should give some of it away since he has no place to sell it and we need them too.
