Nap time
« on: March 04, 2020, 12:23:34 pm »
Do you nap?  I watch my grandkids while my daughter works.  I have the two year old all day.  He is a handful.  I never used to nap.  But, boy sleep seems to be the thing these days.  If I nap with him my house work doesn't get done.  I also like having that time to myself.  Sometimes napping makes me just as tired as if I didn't.  So if you have kids or if you don't do you nap during the day?

I wish I could nap some days.  I also keep my 4 year old grandson for my daughter to work.  He has not took naps in 2 years and he is a handful.  You don't dare take your eyes off of him.

The only time I nap is when I am not feeling well.  Usually at work or catching on household chores so no time to nap

Since I've mostly retired, I find myself napping during the day more and more. I only nap for a couple of hours, so it doesn't really cut into anything important I have to do. I almost always wake up feeling refreshed, thankfully. That's probably why I'm enjoy naps so!  :peace:

I rarely take naps.  Today, I was really dragging though so I laid down for about an hour.  I still work 12 hour shifts 3-4 days each week.  Must have caught up to me after many pickup shifts have been added to my plate.

I never nap - don't have time.   I just go to bed early.
Have a wonderful day!

Since I had my ByPass I have been given a couple of 10 minute exercise routines to repeat throughout the day and they are usually followed by a nap (ready or not).

I wish I could take a short nap in the afternoons and then sleep well at night, but it doesn't work out for me that way. I am not able to get to sleep at all during the daytime usually, and on those rare occasions that I do, I can't sleep at night afterwards. So naps are a no go for me.

Used to nap when my son worked but since he lost his job I sleep too late now in the day so no time to nap and he would just fuss about it LOL

For the most part I may sleep/nap about once a week, but other than that I am busy doing other things.

I have been napping daily since i retired.  Just use my age as an excuse.
