Aldi vs Lidl
« on: February 29, 2020, 09:59:45 am »
Do you have a preference?  I love Aldi.  They just opened a Lidl right across from Aldi  where I live lol talk about competition.  I shopped at Lidl once when they first opened just to see what it was like and compare.  It was ok.  I think I prefer Aldi better.  Lidl is still expanding so there aren't a lot of locations in the US yet.

I've never heard of Lidl but i love Aldi's . one of my most favorite place to shop for goods that you can get cheaper then anywhere else. Sure they make you use a quarter to use their carts no big deal at least you get it back once your don' that's if you don't forget the quarter that is

I've never heard of Lidl either. I occasionally shop at Aldi, but not as often as I probably should. I am used to going to the typical supermarkets and often forget of Aldi's as an option.

I have an Aldi  a few  blocks away from me, (it used to be right next door)  and shop  there regularly.   I really like Aldi.  I have heard of Lidi, and that it is a lot like Adi but never shopped there.

I have gone to Lidl a few times and they had some delicious honeydew melons but I prefer Aldi and go there at least once a week.

An Aldi opened up close where I live a little while ago but I haven't checked them out yet. Good to know they have decent prices from what I've read here, wonder how their cat food section, candy isle and meat section stack up against say Shaws or Stop and Shop?
