so we came home the other day found one of our guinee pig dead,Not sure from what :did i feed it to many veggies ,did kids put something in the cage,did it get to hot,did it have a cold .We just dont know why the other one was in a cage on top of his cage and it is fine,fed them the same time same food.

Thank you, Nancy, my 5-year-old granddaughter cried the hardest. I just talked to my cousin and law she is a vets assistant she said it really hard to know how old a guinea pig is they usually only live 4 or 5 years I know we have had it about three years and it was given to us by someone else.

Always sad when a pet dies no matter big or small their still the same after a while they become family. Sorry for your loss in time things will get better

so couple days later my other one died this was around the same time everyone big and small had a virus was running high fever throwing up and running to the bathroom before we heard anything about this coronavirus, makes me wonder if it is what we had, and that's what killed my critters

How old was it? I did not have very good luck with guinea pigs when my kids were young. I gave up on them. I know they are supposed to have vitamin C and hay.

So now my husband huge boa passed away this week we are down to two cats and one rabbit

It is so sad to lose a pet. I just can't do it anymore since I lost my beloved baby that I am holding in my profile picture on here. They say you live longer if you have pets but I just can't go through that again. It is bad enough we have two old sister cats here that really belonged to my sons. When they go that is it for me. Well I am sorry for your loss hope the kids aren't too upset.

I'm very sorry for your loss.
We have lost Alot of pets over the year's and I still miss them even though I have other one's these days.
Animals are one of the more innocent things in the world.
It's terrible that everything has to die.

OVer the decades, I've lost a lot of pets. It never gets any easier. I loved them all.

thank goodness the children are resilient and get over things quickly it is heartbreaking now I need to get my cats to vet and taken care of before something happens to them
