In the past I worked out everyday, but now I am annoyed because I know that it will help me.  My mood is not the same as when I was much younger.  I hate that because it was my favorite past time.

Good for you!  I try to work out everyday at least for 1/2 hour but I go to the gym it is usually an hour.  I have two dogs that we walk twice a day so that also helps.

When I started out, I'd walk in place if I couldn't keep up with the workout moves.  Just keep moving.  Don't push so hard that you get defeated.

I have to agree with Bremer.  Make sure you pick a beginning level workout.  Just keep moving.  March in place.  Look for chair workout videos if you are really out of shape.  Use weights that are not heavy for you, just slightly challenging.  Maybe you need to start with just 2 pounds. If you have stairs (6  or more) in your home, go up and down them once.  If you are really out of breath after that, you probably need to start with chair work outs.

Work at your pace and the more you do it the better it will get.  I do yard word in the summer and that first time out cutting grass wear me out and saps my strength but the more I do it the easier it becomes.  Make sure you don't overdo it because any movement is better than nothing.  Stay encouraged.
