What an awful thing to have happen. I wonder why he was walking in the road.

I read that he was not in a marked crosswalk when he tried to get across the roadway.  It's just tragic.  Prayers for his family, friends and fans. RIP

Oh, that's so sad.  I hadn't heard the news.  I remember Orson, mostly from game shows years ago.  He always had such a nice personality and funny sense of humor.  Does anyone know if he was  by himself at the time?

I just heard about that this morning - completely missed it this weekend. I feel bad for his daughter who lost her husband to a sudden heart attack back in 2012 (he was only 43 years old) and was just out walking at the time.  Both her husband and her dad were just out for a stroll and neither one came home.

Orson's son-in-law, whom he spoke very highly of, was Andrew Breitbart. Imagine that. A conservative political journalist/commentator (who like Rush Limbaugh was single handedly responsible for launching the careers of many of today's best conservative journalists) marrying into a Hollywood family.  Oh the shame!
 ;)

Orson Bean was killed when he walked across the street where his wife works (Theater). He was hit by a car.  Then a second car hit him & killed him. The second car driver was distracted by people yelling at him & did not see him on the street!

Orson Bean was a neighbor of my Aunt. When she past away, Orson Bean bought her house the sits on the Canal in Venice Beach, Calif. Since then, Orson Bean has expand his house - 4 houses! The out side looks the same. You couldn't tell if the house is expanded from the street!

That's so sad.  I remember the name well, but couldn't place a face with it. So I looked him up and he has credits a mile long!  I've watched many of the shows in which he played a part. I saw a credit from 2020.  How wonderful it must be to keep doing what you love into your "mature" years.
