That's a lot of money to spend on a dog.  Guess I'd wonder how old the dog is and how much time it would have left.  I surely couldn't do it but it's his money and he can spend it however he wants.

It is probably more than just a "surgery".  You can do chemo on dogs if they have cancer.  It is easy to spend a ton of money on an animal.

Sometimes its somewhat hard to see if its the truth or a big scam to get money off random people, I do feel like if it is that much put it down before you go homeless.
