Super Bowl commercials

The Jason Momoa commercial and the Ground Hog day one stick out for me.

My favorite was the Jeep commercial with Bill Murray and the Groundhog. The only thing that would have made it better would have been a cameo from Carl Spackler and the Caddyshack gopher crossing paths with Phil Connors and the groundhog!

I actually paid more attention this year to the SB ads than years before -- guess these surveys we take have a way of staying with you...LOL

I knew about Bill Murray's Groundhog Day/Jeep ad beforehand, but was not disappointed; it was my fave.  I agree with UGetPaid, adding those elements you mentioned would take it to the next level {wonder if anyone is *listening* out there?}.

The Alexa ad was surprisingly good -- they put a little money into wardrobe for that one.  I didn't get the Mountain Dew ad, but never watched Breaking Bad or Black-ish.  Of course, the Bud Knight had to make yet another appearance with the latest ad.

I didn't get the Mountain Dew ad, but never watched Breaking Bad or Black-ish. 

I don't know that it was meant to reference either of those shows (although I can't say for certain because I've never seen them either); but it was a clear reboot of the classic scene from The Shining with Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duvall. They very closely resembled the original actors' facial expressions even.

My favorite was the dance off for Cool Ranch Doritos.  I also liked the Google commercial.  I watch the Super Bowl for the  commercials and half time show.  Had no dog in the running this year.
