   February 7, 2020 is National Heart day - wear red

I found this article and want to share the contents so finding a site to sign up with for our newbies is easier!!

Top Survey Sites of 2020

Discover which survey sites made the cut to be selected as SurveyPolice’s Top Survey Picks of 2020.

Published on January 7, 2020.

https://www.surveypolice.com/articles/top-survey-sites-2020

The biggest change from 2019’s Top Survey Picks was the removal of OneOpinion. We had OneOpinion as our #1 choice last year, but this year, they simply didn’t make the cut. In 2019, OneOpinion’s parent company, Critical Mix, was purchased by Dynata (who runs numerous survey panels). This acquisition seemed to have affected many existing members of the OneOpinion panel negatively; it now appears that qualifying for surveys is more difficult than ever, survey frequency has dropped, and some users have started to report difficulty in collecting their earnings.

As mentioned above, the second change between this year and last year was downgrading PointClub from our #3 choice last year to an honorable mention this year. The reasons for this are explained above.

The other biggest differences in our selections are the addition of YouGov and EPoll Surveys. Both of these panels have made our yearly top pick lists in the past; YouGov was our #5 pick for 2018, and our #4 pick for 2016, while E-Poll was our #3 pick back in 2015.

When my kids were small I use to have all kinds of home jobs but they aren't really easy to find these days.

I get no money from this suggestion!

Here's a work from home site that teaches you to make a successful Blog, which can make you some money!  :silly:

https://createandgo.com/how-to-start-a-blog/

https://createandgo.com/popular-blog-topics/

Quote from this site says:

That being said, bloggers can make from$100 to $25,000 per sponsored post. $25,000 is the highest amount of any blogger I have personally known.

For those of you who are Instagram influencers, you can make from $50 to $50,000 per post.

Note:  Kim Kardashian has even made over $400,000 for a single Instagram post. (I know, it hurts my soul to even type that out).
Not that we can come close to her earnings but it is incentive!  :highfive:

You're right; I know a couple girls online that make a living selling stuff on Etsy.

You can make things at Home for a Company. I know because I saw this Lady in the Post Office mailing off all of her work. You know I should have asked her how to get a job with who she was with, but I didn't. I thought she might think that if I got a job with the same Company and we live in the same Neighborhood that it would take away from her work. Darn it, I should have asked anyway.

VP requires you to have a BACHELOR'S DEGREE!

I see that suggested all over the internet but the fact that you need a degree is left out.  I actually know a woman who does this.  And she suggested I do it.  I even questioned her when she said it...do you not need a degree?  Oh well yeah.  I have a BA in teaching.  I just shook my head.  I am thinking well if I had a BA in teaching I would probably have a real job as a teacher.  IF that is what I had wanted to do. lol

There are ways to get paid to be a caregiver for a family member. Read the article at:

to see if any of these ways apply to you.

I think one of the easiest jobs I've come across is transcription. Rev is "hiring" transcribers, even without experience, if you can type. They don't ask for experience or schooling. You just have to be able to pass their test. The pay is not great compared to working for a standard transcription company, but it's a great way to get  your foot in the door. Good luck!  :peace:

Do you actually do this?  I looked at it.  Rev has a lot of negative reviews.  I sent them an email asking a couple of questions about pay but could not get a straight answer so I skipped it.

I used to work at Rev when I first re-started transcribing again after years out of the work force. It was really just a way to get a foot in the door for transcribing again until I could get a job with a much-better-paying transcription company that requires you to have recent (and a lot) of experience.  :peace:

So did paypal send you a 1099?  I had read where some people got messed up because supposedly paypal turned in earnings to the government and the person did not. SO they got audited.  And it was just a big mess.  The person was not trying to cheat anything.  They just did not know it was going to happen.  I looked at the Rev and was interested.  But a lot of people were saying you can spend 20 minutes just trying to type a 2 min task.  Then a lot of times it is still rejected.  So I did not know if it was worth trying to do it.  Supposedly some people make a full time income.  But people also lie so you don't know what to believe.  I would trust what I read on here about experiences.

Wait one minute? So anytime you use Paypal through a survey agency they count that as income? Don't they need your social for that?

It IS income.  Whether you get paid through PayPal or direct deposit or they mail a check to you.  You technically are suppose to report it on your taxes.  Technically if you walk your neighbors dog for $10 a week you are suppose to report that on your taxes as well.  ::)  Anyway,  The company only sends a 1099 after you earn $600.  I only know what Rev told me and what I have read on a site where people posted in a forum.  But it is hard to get people to answer you.  Like here I questioned something about Rev from someone who says they worked there but I did not get a response.

Someone said they got in a mess because supposedly PayPal submitted something to the IRS and they had not reported the income and did not know PayPal was going to do that.  I am not sure I believe it because I have received over $600 from the same company paid to PayPal and PayPal did not send me the 1099 nor that I know of did they report anything to the IRS.  The company who paid me the money sent the 1099.

Rev told me they do not send a 1099.  They said you will get it from PayPal because PayPal is who is paying you.  NO, YOU are paying me.  PayPal is basically a bank account.  So it is not any different than getting paid direct deposit.  My bank does not send me a 1099 nor do they turn anything in to IRS for the amount of deposits I get through out the year.  I have looked at Rev before.  I have emailed with them.  There are too many unanswered questions for me to sign up with them.  And if you look at sites like survey police there are a lot of complaints against them.  But there are against this site as well saying they do not pay.  We all know that yes they do.

In order to send you a 1099 yes they would need your social security number.  PayPal does not have mine.  On a site like this if you have a payout that will send you over the $600 mark they will ask for verifiable tax info and you fill out, I think it is a W9, before you get the pay that will send you over the $600. I think I also had to submit a pic of a DL And you can't be cute and try to say well I will wait until next year to cash out (say if it is in Dec) because they still will not release it.

PayPal told me they only send a 1099 if you have a seller account and have x amount of transactions or x amount in sales.  A lot of people sell online and accept payments via PayPal.

There is NO way anyone can pay their rent or bills doing surveys. Takes a lot of effort and a lot of time. So there's nothing to worry about people.

LOL  SO taking surveys is NOT a job.  Same thing I have been saying for months/years.  But it IS income.  I just answered the questions someone else asked.  And some sites like this DO turn it in no matter how much or how little you make and they do send you a 1099 at the end of the year.  And FYI if you paid attention to what people are saying in the forums there have been several people, me included, who have made over $600 on sites like this and have received a 1099 at the end of the year.

You will know.  Before the release the funds that will put you over that $600 mark you have to fill out the tax papers and provide proof of who you are.  I don't get people saying I have always heard.  It is verifiable on the government tax website.  It is not something to argue about.  Or something people have to "wonder" about.  Just go and read it.

I have an Etsy store. It's pretty new right now, I haven't made many sales, but looking forward to get it going better.
