I'm more of a 60's kind of gal.  I was raising kids in the 80's, and honestly, didn't pay that much attention to the popular music. My youngest daughter, on the other hand, was a huge Michael Jackson fan.  She watched "Thriller" so many times that she knew all the dance moves.  She grew up to be a singer and always credits Michael as being one of her biggest influences.

Back in Black - AC/DC
Rock and roll ain't noise pollution - AC/DC
Highway to hell - AC/DC
Dr Feelgood - Motley Crue
Pour some sugar on me - Def Leppard
I wanna rock - Twisted Sister
Shake Me - Cinderella
Black Cat - Janet Jackson
Welcome to the Jungle - Guns N' Roses
I love it Loud - Kiss
Angel of Death - Slayer; the whole reign of blood album.
Cult of Personality - Living Colour
Youth Gone Wild - Skid Row
SteelHeart
Lone wolves album by Rancid
Slippery when wet album-Bon Jovi
Everything by Journey

I really like Steel panther these days: obscene, obnoxious, take off on eighties hair bands. Phil Collins was awesome.
