I have never been on a real cruise before, although I did take a ship back from Europe to NYC once. I don't really want to go on one because not only are they very expensive, you hear all the time about diseases taking hold on ships and the ships having to come into port to let the sick people off.

I have been on three cruises and loved every minute of it.  To me it is not all that expensive for what you get.  You pay one price for somewhere to stay, all the food you want to eat and to be treated like a king or queen.

I've been on one cruise and I loved it!  There was so much to do on the ship I didn't feel like I had to go on any excursions. I would recommend taking a cruise to everyone.

I enjoy cruises.  I like being pampered with someone else making my bed, cooking my food, entertaining me with the shows.  Most of the cruisers let their hair down and do silly stuff I don't think they would do otherwise.  Last June was my 13th cruise and I'm looking forward to the next one.  I don't have to leave the ship because there is enough to do and see.  I've never had bad storms or any mishaps except being in Mexico and the police were out with riot gear, AK47's, dogs, etc to protect the cruisers while on land.  I was uneasy with all that arsenal so headed back to the ship.

I have never been on a Cruise, but I want so much to go on a Cruise. We always have to work now is why I can not go. When I was younger, it did not appeal to my Parent's. We always went to Florida.

We've never been on one. We've talked about it but decided it would be too fancy for us, so we gave that up. I'm kinda glad because I have friends that would go on a cruise every 2 years and after every cruise, she would come home sick. The last cruise made her so sick that she was hospitalized, so they gave them up on cruises.

I was on a cruise from Istanbul through the Greek Islands. It was a smaller pricier boat with big cabins. My wife and I were the youngest ones aboard. There was plenty of time at each port and we had a few extra days to spend in Istanbul before the cruise as well as a few extra days after the cruise in Athens which was wonderful. We made a few life long friends as well. We have also been on a ten day cruise in a much smaller boat through the Virgin Islands. There were four bedrooms and a Captain's quarters. We asked that the captain minimize visits to the tourist traps and went to a lot of desert islands, went scuba diving and ate like royalty. Quite a few cocktails as well. The problem with the smaller boats is, after a week on a small boat, the land seems to move when you get off the boat.

I have never been on a cruise ship myself, but my boyfriend and his family go on them practically every year. I am trying to get him to have us take a romantic cruise (just the two of us).
