Only drink real coffee, but I have my favorite brands. I baby it up with cream and sugar, but I don't like to drink decaf. It's not the real thing, baby.

I'm sorry you're having trouble with caffeine, pectacon. I don't think I drink enough of it to have a problem. Plus, I'm cranky with real coffee.  >:( I can't imagine what would happen if I changed to decaf.

:fish:
Addendum: You will probably experience withdrawal if you're trying to stop drinking caffeine drinks, but the effects of withdrawal will eventually end if you stick with it. I personally don't see the need, but if you do see the need, then persevere. You can do it!

Thank you! Others in my house can't have caffeine so I figured I'd just get used to decaf too because there's no sense making 2 pots of coffee every morning. I'll get there in a few days I'm sure!

Just can't imagine how bad it would be if I was one of those people who drink like 10 coffees and 4 redbulls per day. Yikes.

I know a guy I use to work with drank red bull all the time.  He drank 6-8 of them one day while sitting and playing one of them video games that actually has the warnings on that it can cause some medical problem. I guess it takes a lot of energy to play video games. haha     Anyway, he ended up in the ER.  I think he gave up red bull after that.

I don't drink coffee at all so I guess neither. Coffee has always hurt my stomach after I drink it.

I did not start drinking coffee till about eleven years ago. I started off with gateway coffee concoctions. From a Mochas and Snicker Bars to spending way too much on Carmel Macciatos at Starbucks. After reading a book on minimalism I started weaning myself off all of the additives and switched to Lattes and eventually graduated to Americanos and quadruple espressos. I bought an espresso machine so that I would stop spending so much on StarbucksI invested the savings into shares of Starbucks and have done quite well on capital appreciation.  I started my present day job at around that time and was surrounded by attorneys who swore by a coffee called "Deathwish" which was more expensive but contained lethal amounts of caffeine. I have been one of their biggest fans ever since. I am slurping one down as I type. I have tried "X" from South Africa (which is touted as having more caffeine) but found that it caused internal bleeding. I will have a "Nitro" from Starbucks every once in awhile.
