Survey ratings
« on: November 19, 2019, 10:35:40 am »
It would be great if users could thumbs up/down each survey on the main survey page. I just got scammed by another survey and it would be nice to be able to indicate to other users which ones have rewarded successfully on completion and which don't.

Would it really make a difference?  I have some that will not work for me but others say that work well for them.  I have seen people complain about TAP on here but I do well with them.  I probably would not let it deter me if there was a thumbs down.

I know a survey provider that has this feature, but it's not available on FC. Honestly, I don't think it'd be much help. Surveys that work for me might not work for you. They're always looking for different demographics so having a rating would be meaningless.

From a standpoint of frustration and wanting to vent that frustration somehow, I can see this possibly being a popular idea; but the abuse or misuse that could result from it and the unlikelihood that a +/- rating would encourage/deter me from attempting a particular survey makes me think it would ultimately be a waste of time to implement.

There are some companies that give the option of rating the survey experience.  Sometime there are open end questions so you can state what you like and didn't like.

I honestly don't know how much it helps the situation but I usually rate my experience.  Whenever I start to get frustrated with how the surveys are going I take a little break from it all and start again in a day or two.  It's amazing what a bit of time off can do.

This is just feed back for the people behind the survey.  The OP is talking about a rating others will see as to how well this survey works.  But "THIS" survey will be taken down when they get enough respondents so like others said it would be worthless.

It would be more useful for companies.  Like Sample Cube.  I do not even bother with their surveys.  EVERY TIME I do a survey with them when I finish and submit I get a OPPS something went wrong and I do not get credit.  I have reported this thru TAP a ton of times but it doesn't make a difference.  So I just X out when I see that is who is behind the survey.

I always do the smiley face  :)  on P - Nuts when I get a credited survey, frowny face  >:(   when I get a disqual! This is the equivalent of a survey rating in my opinion.  Some of the other let you rate the disqual by stars and then a comment box.

I like TapResearch for this too, because the have a comment box to tell them what went wrong or if you just don't like the questions ie: too personal, too political, too controversial etc

There are a few organizations that give the alternative of rating the overview experience. At some point there are open end questions so you can state what you like and didn't care for.

First off you can't be scammed by a survey. The only thing your giving up is time and what ever effort you put into it and thats on you . No one made you do the actual survey or attempt it. Secondly the surveys are not ran by FC they just host them so the rating thing for here would be meaningless. If you want a rating thing you have to convince the source of the survey to put them up not the host of the survey

As someone else in this thread mentioned, I do not think that having the capability to rate a survey will do anything to affect crediting. I think it is just one of things that it is a toss up as to whether you will be credited or not. It sucks, but it happens.

In the case of some of the videos (which you can use to satisfy the $0.05 requirement in order to be eligible for an additional $0.15 bonus), some days I am credited and other days I am not. It is what it is.

Lately I've been getting this error:

400 Bad Request
Request Header Or Cookie Too Large
nginx

"Cookie too large"  What does this mean?  I have gotten it 5x times today alone and several times in the past..this survey should be rated "F" ,  if it doesn't even know how to place a "cookie"  LOL
