Survey-Donation

Has anyone else seen the political survey where on the next to last page you are asked to download an app and you get $1 for every day you leave it installed?  It tracks your activity on your phone.  AND THEN on the final page you are asked to make a donation of $10?  You do not have a choice to decline making the donation.  You can either click the donate button or at the bottom hit back or continue. To me it wasn't clear what the donation even went to.  First time I have seen anything that asked for money at the end of the survey.

Hmm, that sounds pretty sketchy, if you ask me. I think I would turn right if I saw that on a survey and never look back. And I definitely wouldn't trust where that money might go to or even installing some app from them and have it on my phone (really?) for a dollar a day. Sounds unethical all the way around!

I have not seen, but if I would bypass as I would not trust just downloading  an app  to my phone and  the part about donating, not sure I would trust where that would go either so that would not be one that would personally interest me.

You do not know until the last 2 screens about the opp to download the app and then the last screen asks for a donation.  It is a lot of who did and who will you vote for.  There is an option for "other" or "none of the above" so that is a good thing.

That's crazy. haven't seen that but I'm not about to donate $10.  I'll look out for that one, thanks for the heads up!

It is thru TAP.  I also done one a few min ago on TAP suppose to pay Less than 25 cents.  I completed and got paid $1.03  YAY.

I haven't seen it.  Thanks for letting us know.  If I come across it I will close out on the page that asks for the donation.

I have not seen this in a survey. But if a survey ask for any monetary donation before it will allow me to complete it, I will close it out an do a different one.

I've noticed everything you've said but the donation part in a couple of surveys I've taken but that $10 donation sounds suspect.

     I think they are after your money.
     Just ignore this survey and try other surveys.

I did not do the survey on a smart phone.  Most surveys cannot be completed on mobile devices anyway.  I have seen more than one that asks for a ph number so they can send you a link to download something. I assume this is the case here.

I had that survey, but didn't click on it, if you aren't sure, then don't do it.
