I think it's the Philippines  where they put up Christmas decor in Sep. They love the holiday. We have a fake tree but looks fine decorated. Will put up after thanksgiving.

I have the trees up and all of the decorations out already, working on it this week.  I am doing Thanksgiving at my sisters and then leaving town for 10 days.  So I am getting everything up now, so that it will be Christmas when I get back home.  It takes a few days to get it all up, and I enjoy it anyway.  When I get home I will (especially this year with a week short, because of Thanksgiving being late) already be doing a lot of the entertaining and activities that come with the holidays.  This way there is less pressure to get it all up, so I can enjoy it an my visitors can too!

I was just saying this morning, I guess we will be putting up our tree soon. I feel like we just took it down. Time moves to quickly.  :cat:

I started putting our tree up this past weekend and am still working on it.  I do a little each evening.  I want to have it up before my 2 1/2 year old grandson comes in on Thursday.  I want him to enjoy it as he may not be back until Christmas.  He is going to be so much fun this Christmas!!
Have a wonderful day!

This year my son does not want a tree. We will just decorate the place.

We're hoping to get our Christmas tree up on Saturday provided it is not raining.

I've heard that some people put up trees right after Halloween. I guess it depends on preference.
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

About as foolish like someone having 30 accounts and talking to  themselves in a public forum.
