11/4 national candy day

happy candy day!! did anyone know there was such a day, and right after Halloween?

There seems to be a national day for just about anything & everything, so it's not surprising... surprised it's not on Halloween though, they missed the day on that one for sure.   

Unfortunately I will not be having any candy this candy day, started a strict 21 day meal plan so I'll be all fit for the holidays come Thanksgiving

I agree there seems to be a day for everything, I said the same thing when I saw this thread.

I actually had some candy today. I did not know it was national candy day but that fast break was a good part of the day. I will also have one tomorrow just because they are so good

I can say that I enjoyed candy on this "national candy day" with tootsie roll pops!  They are an all-time favorite of mine.

No, I didn't realize there was an official day for candy. Yay! I've always loved candy. I would get 50 cents allowance, go to the drugstore, and be able to buy two or three types of candy, all for 50 cents! Yes, it has been quite a while since then, LOL!

Oh, my gosh! I had no idea! I did kind of want to go for a piece of candy today though! I can't believe there were no big specials around town! Team Candy really should have stepped it up! But, maybe they are prohibited from such.  Who know why.

I have never heard of a National Candy Day, but then I have not heard of many of these new "days." I think they all are marketing strategies.  I have to admit I am a sugar addict, and if you put most kinds of candy in front of me, I will eat it.
My best strategy is to not bring it into the house and to not have the first piece.  If I take one, I am often a "goner."
