Will you shop black friday

What exactly do people need this Black Friday that is so discounted that going would be worthwhile to go to a store?  I could see it back in the day when Flat Screen TVs first came out & they were terribly expensive... & on Black Friday they were deeply discounted so the mad rush to get one was there.  I saw this week-end a VIZIO 50" Smart TV for under $250 at Sam's Club... TVs are so very cheep.  What are people looking to buy?  As far as I know there is no new technology out this year that people are wanting, so what exactly would be the draw?

A lot of people.  I know people who save several hundred dollars because they buy a lot of stuff that is on sale.  As for what people are buying this year, I have no idea.  The draw is when you can get an iPad for half price or TVs for several hundred dollars off.  Every one is not rich so being able to save a few hundred of something is worth it.  I am looking for one specific item and if it is on sale I may see if I can get it.  But I will be looking at Walmart and if it is online I will go that route.

Nah. I hate shopping and the extra crowds aren't worth it. If I was going to buy something it would be online but I don't usually have anything in mind I want to get.

Well its been decided for me have kids to babysitt all night the mother works in walmart, no black friday for me

I usually just browse online for deals. If there is something going out and getting it may be a different story.

Walmart is not usually busy on FRIDAY. All the sales are on Thursday or that night.  By Friday morning the place is deserted. At least ours is.  They still have deals going on til around 11 or sometimes 2PM so we usually go up there that morning if there is anything we are interested in.

I used to love to go for the craziness and see what kind of deals I could get. Now I will do some online Black Friday shopping and go into Walmart mid morning on Friday to see what is left over.

I am legitimately scared to shop on Black Friday. The craziness that some people will show in order to take advantage of a good deal. No thanks, LOL.

It's confusing when Black Friday is this year.  stores are advertising it now, but I asked about a TV at Walmart yesterday and they said Black Friday was this friday after Thanksgiving.  So I don't know when to shop.  I know it will be online.  I won't go int o stores with all the madness.
