I'm back Whew
« on: October 26, 2019, 05:42:14 am »
Last Saturday we moved to a new place.  It took until yesterday to get our cable and internet working.   My whole morning routine was disrupted.  I could do the daily email on my phone, but that's about it.  So a week of .02/day....:(

Glad to be back! I have a week's worth of forum postings to make up, so  you'll be seeing quite a few from me!

Welcome back! Even short periods of disruption can be frustrating and set you back. When I visit my parents in Arizona I go into the cone of silence. They live on a remote ranch with no access to wifi and/or cellular. When I am out there,  I have to drive into town on a daily basis. Congratulations on the new move. I told my wife, after moving into the house I currently live in and living there for twenty yeas, that I would never move again. She has been hinting that our house is too large now that the kids have moved out but I am sticking to my guns. Our house is perfect for our needs. We can sell for twice what we paid but most houses are overpriced in our area. I encouraged her to look for a second home in a warm ocean location. Best of luck in your new place!

Moving is so much work, but you made it through.  I hope you like your new home.  What is the old saying?  Home is where the heart is.

I haven't been on the computer much the last  few months.  Hubby has been on a lot. But until a few days ago he was not suppose to be doing a lot and it was up to me so been pretty busy. Teach him to have a fight with the  table saw.  Took a long time for the fingers to heal and the scabs  come off by them selves. His fingers sure look funny now.

Congratulations on your new place.  Moving is such a bear.  Glad that you can now get back to your morning routine.  That will make the new place seem more  like home too!

Congratulations on your new digs. I hope you enjoy them. I would find it absolutely impossible to move someplace. We have accumulated so much stuff after 42 years in the same house, I would never be able to move it all. And my hubby is so attached to most of it, he wouldn't let me get rid of it either.

Welcome back and glad it sounds like the trauma of moving is over.  I already have my 30+ posts done cause I have my second eye surgery in about a week and I will be off the computer for a while.  So again welcome back  :star: :star: :star:

I will probably have this to deal with soon.  I am selling my house and moving into an apartment when it becomes available.  In the meantime I'm living at my daughter's house.

For a while I was honestly wondering why the forum seemed a bit empty.  So now I know why; you were missing.  :(

Glad to have you back.  I hope you are settling in to you new home.  It does take time to adjust.

I always hate that when moving. You don't realize how much you relay on the internet until you have to go without it for a few days.

I don't like all the hoops they put to get to those things. I am tired of them changing these settings. Too much money is still missing from my account to do all these little things. 5 cents before you get 15 cents, etc. Grr … I am mad. I hate this! I want my $22 back now!

Moving is a pain in the you know what.  I have lived at the same place for 20 years and dread moving away.
