The Rise of Skywalker
« on: October 20, 2019, 12:17:38 pm »
The final trailer for Rise of Skywalker will be on during the Monday night football contest between (my very own) New England Patriots & the New York Jets.

Not really a fan of what Disney has done, but I'll probably see it. It's being touted as 'the end of the skywalker saga'.

I haven't seen any trailers for that, yet!

Is he going to die?  I did not like the way the Toy Story 4 ended.  But it is kind of open so if they wanted to make a 5th one and reunite everyone they can.  I saw the Lion King with the real animals last night and thought it was really good.

Luke Skywalker died at the end of the last movie. He'll be back as a Force Ghost, though.

I'm personally hoping they bring him back in the flesh. That last movie was so bad, I don't care how they bring him back, but they owe us a better ending for him.

I haven't seen the trailer yet but that's why there's youtube. Okay, so now they're gonna kill off Luke? why not, they did the unthinkable when they killed off Han Solo! I agree with you Jedijohnnie, Disney is good at mousing around, their stuff is Goofy in a good way (pun intended) but their script ideas for Star Wars belong in a galaxy where no one will ever find them. I'll watch how ever much I can stand of it. I have a question for you though that I'm curious to get your thoughts on, it's a question I found online. Does Darth Vader remember R2D2?

That's a good question. I suppose he does. He never came into contact with him during the original trilogy, but I'm sure he'd recognise him if he did.

Hmm... I thought as young Anakin he met R2 and C3PO, I'm not big on the prequels, I'll go with your answer!

Oh.  It has been a while since I have watched any of the Star Wars movies.

Well, you said does Darth Vader remember R2. I supposed you meant 20 years later during the original trilogy. He pretty much owned R2 when he was younger as Anakin. But I don't think he came into contact with R2 after he put on the suit.

LOL! yeah, that intimidating cyborg suit did something to transform Anakin the person too! he ceased being who he was and in becoming Darth Vader "forgot" those he once knew.
