Yes.  Is it worth it today?  Not really.  Adsense is largely ineffective for the overwhelming majority of people these days.

Just a waste of time and money! I do a lot of online stuff - and use only free things, which works just fine for me!
Don't get me wrong, it does work, but you spend way too much for it.  There is so much competition out there!

With Google you always have to pay S&H for a trial kit and then the problems begin.  I don't trust Google or any other site that have free trials.

I think you possibly could just like anyone else. But I believe it just depends on what you have to do. And you also might need to factor in how many people you know and will help you if you need to work with people. Trying new things is not always the easiest thing ever.

Of course it's possible. You can make money with google adsense without having to spend much of anything. You just have to do the work to get traffic to your site.
