Praying you will find a place to live and not have to live in your car. Tough time of year for getting a notice. God bless you and hope you find somewhere soon.

Haven't had a chance to get on here with all the moving.  CountryGirl wrote me book volumes I see here.  I didn't sit on my butt and do nothing.  I worked during that time and also had an older child that I was still supporting.  I worked over 17 years for the state of Florida and don't know if CG ever worked that long anywhere.  You don't make a lot of money working for the state of Florida ans still qualify for help if you get child support.  Sounds like you never had children county girl.  It is very expensive to raise kids.

He tricked me because he didn't want me to file for child support so he could buy himself a house.  When I asked him to give me more than 30 days notice because I am supposed to get surgery on my feet, right knee replacement, and physical therapy on back and right hip several times a week he said that's your problem not mine.

You ar so opinionated on anything anyone has to say here just to be contrary.  I won't nbe reading your posts anymore.

I didn't write you book volumes.  You are a cry baby and just mad because I didn't get on board with feeling sorry for you.  You lived there for FREE.  He doesn't owe you anything.

He did not trick you.  If you do not file for child support I will let you live here in MY house for free!  You pay no rent, no house payment, no property taxes, no upkeep on the house.  Sounds like a pretty sweet deal.

No I am not opinionated just to be contrary.  Too bad if you do not agree with me.  Sounds like you raised your daughter to be just like you.  Maybe if you had gotten married instead of just having kids with random men you would not be in said mess. You just wanted to have a pity party and then have everybody jump on board telling you how you are right and he is wrong.

Also sounds like you got some pretty good insurance to have all these surgeries lines up.  So I don't see where you have too much to complain about.

Wait, so he was living there also?  You would not be able to get child support if he was living there.  You act like he had this malicious plan the whole time.  What you are saying doesn't add up.

Just noticed this on Country girl post.  Where does she get that he was living there too?  She really makes up her own stories just to hear herself talk, this woman.  I can see why another member called her contrary girl.

lol Thought you were not going to read or respond to my posts any more.  That lasted a long time.  You typing something in italics and saying I said it doesn't mean I did.  You weren't tricked.  You sound like the typical free loader.  It is his house and he has the right to sell it.  You could have bought it and stayed there.

How long have you been living in the house?  If he is the Father of your child, why didn't he give you much more time to move?  Can you afford to live in the house or better yet, how much is he asking for the sale of the house?  He doesn't sound like a big fan of yours, by kicking you out of your home.

That's a great suggestion; churches are suppose to help in situations like this.  So is DHS.

What area are you in? There should be a ministry or a church maybe they can help you find housing in your area hopefully I will keep you in my prayers

True; buying a home is a process.

Santa 7:     Buy a house in "your name".
                        Buy title insurance.
                        Then, there is no problem:
Who is the owner of the house?
                        You are protected!
                        Happy house hunting/buying!

This is about too foolish to even respond to.  Buying a house is not that easy.  You can't just go buy a house.  Not sure what TITLE INSURANCE is.  If you are paying on a house you have to have insurance.  You do not get the title until you have paid the mortgage off.

The OP has stated in the past she is older and she doesnt work so I doubt she just has the money to go buy a house.  As for who is the owner of the house - obviously the man who is selling it.  The man she has had a relationship with.

^Why does ancmetro assume that only men sell houses for money and that money was the motivation in this case? I'm not saying that it isn't, but without more information from santa7 -how do we know?

@santa7, is there a friend, neighbor, or family member you could move in with temporarily while you look into other options? That would surely beat living in your car.

Because people are judgmental.  People hear one side of a story and jump the bandwagon and trash the other person and when you find out the whole story you see there was a lot more to it.  He is the owner of the home and he doesn't owe anyone any explanations as to why he is selling it.  Even if it IS just because he needs the money it is nothing to her or anyone else.  IT IS HIS HOUSE!

A lot of times people cry oh I will be homeless and I will be living in my car to get sympathy.  This person still has internet.  I am guessing also still has other extras.  If I were fixing to not have any where to live I would cut off all the extras.  But that is just me.

I hope the situation is better now.  If you are living out of your car search car living on YouTube for tips to make it sustainable.

I sincerely wish you would do a new post and let us know how this housing thing is going for you.  People for the most part on this forum really care about the things they hear people are going through.

[/quot my granddaughter, her fiance and I are all paying for me to stay in this nice apartment.  Expensive but I'm not homeless for now I have to find a place by April though. Trying to give get veterans benefits so far I have been denied but I am appealing it. I've gotten to a couple senior housing living waiting lists. I was in the army reserves when I was young I never applied for benefits because I was never deployed however I need help with medical bills.

Moving is never easy but maybe you can find a friend to stay with until you can find something reasonable.  Sometimes there are seniors looking for roommates but whatever you decide make sure you be careful out there and choose wisely.. One day at a Time

Yes I'm sure if you are a mom you understand.  Only someone who doesn't have children wouldn't understand. My younger daughter was supposed to move in with him and his girlfriend and all of his girlfriend's family that didn't last not even 3 days she came back to me so now I have to look for a place for her and myself.
