I'm not super clean or super messy. For the seven months I didn't have a dog, I kept my apartment pretty clean. But now with a long-haired dog and a long-haired cat, there's a lot of fur everywhere, no matter how much I vacuum. I just got a new car a couple weeks ago, so it's super clean and still has the new car smell, because the dog has only been in it twice.

Well I guess if you have to lump me in a category I'm a clean freak.  I was raised that way, one of my mother's sayings was " put it away or I'll throw it away" and she did!  So my home and my siblings homes, are neat and clean.  My car is very clean also.  I'm lucky in the sense my husband is also neat.

My mom said and did the same thing.  She would walk around the house with a garbage bag and anything not put away was thrown away.  I guess inherited this trait because I did the same thing with my kids.  I have 3 kids and one daughter always has a mess at her house and her garbage in her car.  I always asked myself if she was raised in the same house as the other two because their houses and cars are always clean.  My husband is better now but it took some training.  His car is still a mess and I refuse to get in.

Both my home and my car are exceptionally clean. I tend to believe that the state of your home and car (for the most part) is a direct reflection of you as a person.

I keep both of my cars immaculate. i do not have frilly key chains just one key for my newer car and one key on a skull key chain for my nineteen sixty five jeep. I was and vacuum my newer car once a week and neither car has anything in it.  i am responsible for four rooms in my house: my study, bathroom, bedroom and workout room. All are also extremely clean. I wash my sheets once a week and make my bed daily. My bathroom mirror, toilet and shower get cleaned weekly. I touch noting in my study other than my two lap tops. I wipe down my workout equipment after every workout. My family likes to leave their stuff in my areas which is picked up by me and unceremoniously dumped on the kitchen floor. I have been told that cleanliness is next to godliness and I know that it helps maintain organization in my busy life which allows me to accomplish more.

For both: Clean up every single day!
Do not keep what you do not need.
   Throw away perishables immediately.
   Use boxes to reduce clutter.
   Space is scarce and valuable.

No not really. I keep my home very clean. I am a neat freak when it comes to my home. My car, not so much. It is not dirty but not as clean as my home.

I would say yes. A messy person will have a dirty messy car and a dirty messy house.  A clean tidy person will have a clean tidy car as well as home.  My aunt's car is piled so full of trash I refuse to get in it.  She just laughs and says "don't judge me".  I am thinking you are nasty and need to clean this up.  How can you ride in this.  And why would you just continue to throw trash down in the floor and the seats?

I grew up with "a place for everything and everything in its place."  I'm afraid I don't strictly adhere to that saying, but I'm always striving to do better.  I think my car is cleaner than my house.  I usually need a good incentive to do a thorough housecleaning.  With Thanksgiving approaching, I will be doing much more cleaning than usual.  There's just nothing like having company that makes the clutter and dust bunnies more visible!

My house is cleaner than my vehicle, except where my husband spends a lot of time.  Those places are always cluttered and messy.  I can't keep up with him.

I don't drive much so my car tends to not be the cleanest. I don't pile garbage in it or anything but I'm sure you can find a couple old receipts under the seats.
