Never Got This Message Before

I posted on one of the boards and then went to post a different message on a different board. I got a message telling me that there had just been a post from my IP and that I needed to wait 10 seconds before I could post again.  I never heard of anyone getting a message like this. There have been times when I did a lot of posting in the same day but maybe I never did a back to back post.

I've never had it happen to me on here, but it happens often with forums. There's a short "cool-off" period because sometimes there are spammers or bots who try to flood the topics with nonsense. Don't worry too much about it.

Just want to bring it to your attention that it seems like I am the only one beginning discussions and you and one other person responded to this post. Does that mean that there are only three persons on forum right now?

I have posted back to back messages before in the past also and have never gotten a message like this on any forumn

I have never seen that or heard of that message before.  Occasionally I have had it happen that after typing my response/reply and hitting the 'Post' button, I would get a message in red telling me that another member submitted a post at the same time; then I'm asked if I want to continue. I always click, yes, I want to continue.  Basically it's 2 members posting on the same thread at the same time.  I've never had any problems submitting nor have I ever gotten a message about my IP.

I sometimes post back to back, but I have never received that message. I agree with others that it may be a way to combat spam on the forum.

I don't know if I have seen that before but like if you comment on something and want to respond to something else in the same thread and do it too quick - I could see it happening.
