Emotional or Not Emotional
« on: September 06, 2019, 09:50:33 am »
Has anyone else done the survey where you have to decide if a random word (mostly people's names) are emotional or non-emotional?  If you make too many mistakes you will not be compensated.  Did not take long before I said screw it and X out.

How am I suppose to know if PAUL if emotional or not?  smh

No that is bizarre haven't seen that one.  The only way you would get an emotional response to a name as far as I know would be if you saw a name of someone you significantly disliked or liked a lot.

lol True but there WERE right and wrong answers because if you did not give the correct answer it said WRONG and flipped a big red X up on the screen.  I honestly cannot remember if this was on this site or another one.  I just thought that was rather odd.

NO, haven't seen that one yet but I'm like you just forget it and go to the next survey.

Have not seen that, but if I do would probably just go on to the next survey; not sure how I could determine about someones emotions.

Some surveys are  really getting weird. And no I would  not know  what to  do with this one.  Just  go on to another one.  It is getting harder and harder to get  good surveys . Although I did do  two today. One for 20 cents and another for 50 cents then did a few  I centers and go to do my paid to click. Lot better then most days.

FC had a survey like that either last year or the year before that.  I found it rather easy to do.  It was better than a lot of the surveys.

I have not taken this survey but I am sure I would have wiped out too.  I am wondering the point of such a survey.  A few people already used the adjectives "weird" and "bizarre" and I would say those are definitely correct.

I havent seen the survey either. I also have had a survey when none of the correct choices are correct for my particular situation. I just have to pick something and move on

I haven't seen that survey but I think I'd really like it.  I'm hypersensitive and I recognize when I or another person is having an emotional reaction to something.

I'm also an emotionally based individual which is one way of saying - I'm an empath.  I feel what other people are feeling.
Have a great day!

No, I haven't come across that survey, but it sounds like an exercise in frustration, if you ask me, LOL! I would have done the same thing you did and chucked that survey after just a few minutes!  :peace:

The only 'emotional test' I have ever taken on surveys is the one where an actual word is given ( not a person's name ) and I had to choose whether the word denoted a positive or a negative emotion.

They are much easier to do correctly than a person's name.  If I ever see that one, I don't think I'll even begin to try it.

That was sort of what this was. But the words were not like happy, angry, or the others we usually see.  Then it had random names thrown in there.  That was what threw me for a loop.  I am like well how to I know if Paul is happy or sad.
