DoorDash
« on: September 03, 2019, 01:34:06 am »
Just started learning a thing or 2 about DoorDash delivery service.  I haven't used it yet but I'm very tempted.

Have you ordered food to be delivered by DoorDash?

Are you a DoorDash driver?

I love the idea.

Have a great day!

We haven't yet used DoorDash either. It's tempting to me sometimes, too. But my husband is very against paying delivery charges for food (except pizza), so we probably won't try it anytime soon, LOL! As long as he's willing to cook most of our meals (which he is), then I have no problem with it.  :peace:

No, I have not used Door Dash either, but I have thought about it as well. My Husband does not like the idea. He also likes and does most of the cooking at our Home too. He can cook so good. He thinks of his own recipes and they are so Delicious. He could open his own Restaurant and make a good living for us. I tell him that all of the time.

I have not used this and don't see me using it.  I don't want food delivered to my house.  I don't even have pizza delivered.  I will go pick it up.

The way things are changing I can see it getting until you cannot even go pick out your own groceries.  You order online then go pick up the order.  Walmart has this available now.  I talked to an employee about it the other day.  I told her I wanted to pick out my own food.  I don't want dented cans or squashed boxes.  And fruit and veggies I want to pick my own stuff out.  Not what they want to pick out for me.

We have never used DoorDash or any of the others, either. I saw a news report on TV that said delivery people often take a bite out of what they are delivering and that soured me on the idea of ordering anything by delivery ever again!

I have never used door dash. If I want something that does not deliver, I will just go to the fast food place and get it myself. I don't know if there is a charge for delivery but I am if there is, it can't be too much or people would not use it.

I would only use it if it offered free delivery.
Have a wonderful day!

I have never used DoorDash or any other delivery service but I'm opened to using one in the future.

Not door dash but I have used a delivery service local called Deland delivers and have thought about using another one I think its called GrubHub I have mobility issues so it is worth the delivery fee and tip for me.

I've been curious about Doordash but it seems the delivery fees practically add up to another meal, which deters me from using the service.

Also, I feel like when the meal preparers know the food is for delivery I may not get fresh food; they may use my order to push out old inventory.

Never used them and really do not see the need to at this stage of our lives.  We always pick up our orders and double check them before we leave because even when picking them up there have been a couple of times something was missing.
