Seems like August lasted forever

I have a lot of posts which is good - it just seems in general that this month has lasted so long.  Does anyone else feel like that?

It has been a long one.  Mainly for me because life finally calmed down a bit.

It seemed really long because I packed so much into it. I spent one weekend moving my daughter to a new rental home about forty five minutes away. I spent another weekend moving my son from his Sophomore year home to his Junior year home. I just spent five days moving my parents from their home into an assisted living facility which was the hardest both physically and mentally. They scaled down to one thousand square feet from forty five hundred square feet and had decorations galore-at least one hundred masks from equally as many countries that they had visited during their forty years of marriage. Mom has alzheimers and Dad has the onset of alzheimers. Sad to see two of the smartest people I know struggling to remember where they are or where they have placed things like hearing aids or keys.

August goes by pretty quick for us, we were so busy planning things and going somewhere.

The month flew by for me quick. Just last night i was planning my friends bday out like she wanted and it just feels like a few days past and now its september

For me, almost every month and every season flies by so quickly it seems like a dream sometimes.  However, the months that seem to last forever are January and February.  This feeling is probably because I dislike winter with a passion and the dark and cold are extremely depressing to me.  Sometimes I feel like a prisoner during those months depending how bad the weather gets here in Michigan.

For me the month of August seemed to fly by just like the rest of the previous months. Can't believe Halloween is a month away and then soon it'll be the holidays! WOW!

I thought the month would go on forever too.

I thought  it would never go  by. We have had a lot of triple digit weather here. Makes for a rough  summer. If you don't get up and out of the house early in the mornings when it is still cool then you just  don't  get much done. Hubby  went  down a few years ago with a heat stroke and now he  can't tolerate the high heat. And  I  can't beout  in it too much what with the meds I am on. I don't mind getting up early but he hates too. But I can only do so much and theni need help around here.

I have to agree that August has lasted a L-O-N-G time for me, especially here in the Georgia heat and humidity! I am looking forward to autumn, though. What a wonderful time of year!

I think it went pretty fast but I'm so glad it's over. I'm ready for September.

I think this whole summer has flown by!  After working 60 - 70 hours a week, I have lost the sense of time...

I traveled so much that it seemed like the month flew by.  I didn't even know about the Popeye sandwich craze until it was almost over.  I was not going to get one but I just like to know what people freaking out about.
