Orange      Purple    Pink
Black          Grey      Blue

Which is the 4th option?  Depending on how you do it the answer would either be Orange or Red and both could be correct.

Sounds like it was one of the "just checking to see if you are paying attention to instructions" test questions in a survey. That would be my guess anyway.  I'm pretty sure I have seen one like this recently.

No I have seen several times pick the 4th choice.  But they were in a column.  The way these are arranged depending on how you do it the 4th answer could be 2 different choices.  I went left to right and apparently got the answer correct because I continued on with the survey.  And no, it was not even on this site.

Well that was how I done it.  But you could also go top to bottom 1st column the move to the 2nd column.

I think it is one of the trick questions they send out.  or it could be where you think you have the correst answer and  that is not what they wanted, Who knows how  some of these people think. I have answered some where I am DQ'D right away and then some where I got to do the survey,

You missed what I said.  It has nothing to do with paying attention.  There are two different ways you can answer and technically BOTH would be correct.

See that is what I was thinking.  When things are in columns like that a lot of people would do it that way.

And it may have been set so that either of those choices would have been accepted.

THAT is most likely what it is about. haha

Kind of like the "personality tests" they want you to take when you apply for a job and it asks stupid questions like if you prefer bananas or apples and which one you would rather eat reveals something about your personality and if you would be likely to steal from the company. lol

Those are messed up too.  I done one years ago and I remember the one section you were to pick the one most like you and least like you from the 4 words given.  And the four words were something like

Thief     Lazy
Liar      Cheater

Of course these were not the exact words but all 4 words were extremely negative.  It is like NONE of the words are like me.
