Do you have grown children who try to boss you around

well u get paid I would never and could never say you or your sister boss me around I'm very lucky sometimes it would be nice to be told what to do so I wouldn't have to make all the decisions but din't change I like you just the way you are

I'm not at an age where my kids boss me around.  I think they've tried before but learned real quick that I'm the parent and I'm the boss.  Now 2 of my 3 children are adults and they are fairly independent.  As I am.  I imagine if either they or I ever had to rely on one another someone may end up being a bit bossy but for now we all rather respect one another.

I have a 22 yr old daughter, she lives with me, she is the only adult child I have, we get along pretty well. We don't have any bad issues, so I'm thankful for that. We have each others back.

In my circumstances I have a mother who has some health problems, and I and my sister do have to boss her around.  I sure would rather not.  IT is like she has reverted to childhood again, we must make sure she bathes, changes clothes, eats.  My daughter has been bossing me around lately on a remodel we are doing, but she is an interior designer/remodel specialist so I have to take advantage of this now since I paid for her degrees.  LOL  Other people pay her a lot of money to do this, I get it for free(?)  HAHAHAHA.  The rooms that are complete are gorgeous and I love them.

I don't consider mine "grown up" she is only 14 but she tries to boss me around all the time! rrrrrrrrrr

I have a grown son who lives with me and he has issues which I can deal with for the most part but he now has the bad habit of trying to boss me around which I am not going to allow but it sure makes me miserable.  Does anyone else have this problem.

I don't, but my daughter has a step-son who is 18 years old and up until he moved out he would tell her he was a grown man.  He would not listen to anyone.

My sister has the same issue, her son tells her and his father what to do all the time. He would be out of my house if he was mine.

I'm 21 and could never attempt to "boss" my parents around. They're like my best friends and we have a great relationship.

No - both of my kids live too far away.  And by phone, they don't boss us at all.  They will come up with a great idea that is helpful at times, but otherwise they are independent and loving.

Not at the moment. My son is 15 and have not tried Mom in that way. He knows better.
