I LOVE DOGS! I lost my dog, Mandy, last year on July 3, to cancer of the spleen. She was 14 1/2 yrs old. I still miss her so very much! She was the best friend I ever had.

Oh! Me, me, me!  I love them.  I have three.  All rescued from shelters or rescue groups.  My dream is to make enough money to start a doggie sanctuary for unadoptable dogs.  I am so sorry about your beloved Mandy.  I have lost three dogs over the years and I still try not to think about it because it hurts so badly.

I'm definitely not an animal person in general. The pets I've had include a 4 and a half foot ball python and two pet albino rats that came from a lab.
If I could find a dog that didn't bark or *bleep* I would keep it. They are cute, especially wiener dogs, but I don't have the patience and I hate the noise.

Got a Lab.. and she is the best dog... Labs are good with kids...

Yes it does hurt so very much to think about our lost babies. I think about Mandy every day but very rarely let myself dwell on it because if I do, I can't stop the tears. I will always miss her! It was so very hard learning to go on without her in my life, I honestly don't know how I muddled through it.

I love dogs, especially huskies and dachshunds!  My daughter likes Chihuahuas.  You have to be careful with dogs because they can become like one of the family.  It hurts when they die just like losing a member of the family.  I swore after we lost our last dog that I would not go through that again.  It was just too painful.

I love- a - my dog....she is quite something else. I swear....never met another dog like her...personality of her own that's for sure. she's my whookie...

I have one that is sassy, one that is skitzoid (he lived in a shelter most of his life) and one that is sure that everyone in the world adores her.  They are all very different and all special in their own ways.  I also have a fat cat, that is pretty much good for nothing except lounging with me on race day.
