I don't have kids but I was vaccinated and I would vaccinate them for all the childhood diseases like measles, chicken pox, rubella, polio etc.

They do not vaccinate for Polio any more.  We had gotten rid of it.  Although the illegals are bringing it back in to the country.  We have had several cases of Measles in areas surrounding me.  There was one case in my county.

I will also say some of the "mental" drugs they are given kids def do not need to be given to them.  They diagnose these kids with depression at 6-7 years old and put them on adhd pills and have doctors telling them they are depressed and have problems.  The pills they feed them are the problem.  But that is a completely different discussion.

I have children and they are vaccinated. I think children who attend public schools should be vaccinated because it is a public place. If people want to put their child's health at risk, that is fine, but don't send them to a public school where they would come in contact with other people. Home school them.

The debate over whether children should be vaccinated is highly contentious. As a public health professional, I am naturally inclined to support the benefits of vaccination. Granted, nothing comes without risk. However, the risk of making others unnecessarily ill because of misguided beliefs and religious convictions far outweighs the health risks of receiving vaccines.

Explain this.  If YOUR CHILD is vaccinated then YOUR CHILD is not being put at risk for anything.  That is the whole point.  Unless the vaccine does not really protect you and in that case why do you need it to start with.

I understand the childhood vaccines.  But there are a lot of nasty stuff being carted in to our country by illegals.
And there could come a time when they want to bring back vaccines that have not been given in years.  Like mentioned earlier Polio and some others.  I am not certain I would take them.
