Just FYI, I went to PetSmart yesterday for the Freebie/Adoption event and got a $4.99 bag of chicken jerky for my pup, Free!  Also, checked out with the 100pt card they give you and made my 1000 pts for a discount on any treat, so I got a bag of poppers, cheese/beef for .86!  Win Win   

Starting over now, have to get another 1000pts to qualify for another treat next year, not that easy now, since they stopped carrying the Purina Bella I was feeding the pup!

Petsmart changing the check in for freebie Saturday!!


This offer has changed!!  Anyone participating on the first Saturday freebies have to download an app to their phone to check in for the extra 100pts. 

This Saturday February 1, 2020 is the freebie day

Saturday March 7, 2020 freebie day at the PetSmart, have to check in on the app to get the 100 pts but they give out free samples of the pet food!  12 noon

Sorry if the information caused anyone a trip to get the freebies and 100pt bonus but the rules have changed!
( Would have been nice if PetSmart had emailed this change so I wouldn't have wasted a trip! )

I went to the PetSmart but they changed the First Monthly Saturday to March 14 this month and maybe every month now on.  Have to go back next week and see.  The website should have the information every month now they told me.

This event moved to 2nd and maybe third Saturday:


We have made the difficult but necessary decision to temporarily suspend all in-store adoption events until further notice. This includes all events in our U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico stores.

This does not impact our in-store PetSmart Charities Everyday Adoption Centers and 7-Day Cat Centers. We will continue to work closely with local animal welfare organizations to help the pets housed in these centers find forever homes.
