So now they are saying over 100 MILLION people's info has been stolen from Capital One.  This is getting ridiculous.

I agree this is getting ridiculous but what can we do about it.

You'd think these companies/firms/banks would have extra security in this increasing digital world, but I guess not. Hopefully the people affected by this are properly compensated for their blunder like with Equifax.

As of now no one has lost any money.  You have to do too much to protect yourself.  I have credit monitoring and if my SS is used for anything I get an alert.  All of my credit cards have alerts so if they are used I get a text.
