That was a nice surprise. I have found money I left in my pocket before, but not that much. I try to keep my money in the same place so I don't forget where I put it.

about a year ago I misplaced 440.00 I kept it in a box in an envelope . when I went to look for it was gone. that was about abyear ago. I thought I looked in every enevelope  but to my surprise I found it yesterday. now will just keep in a sock maybe buy something or pay a bill. nice surprise that was.

Well that was a good find.  I'm glad it turned up for you.  I remember some years ago setting aside a little cash in an envelop.  I put it in a safe place. It was such a safe place that I completely forgot all about it until some months later.  Wow, I was thrilled when I found that cash!  I haven't had the need to stash any cash for a long time.

I had $700 stashed in my passport book (just because/in case money). I flew to my family reunion in New Orleans in June and took the money out and put it in my house somewhere. NOW I CAN'T FIND IT  Can't say "I've looked everywhere!!" cause obviously I haven't. IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS!!!

That's a lot of money to misplace but glad you found it.  Try to find a better place to put it and keep a note where it is.

I do have a mug on my dresser for pocket change, but it goes in the bank when it's full (usually about $30) every few months. When my bank balance gets high enough, it goes in savings to draw interest.
