political surveys only want liberal views

every survey that has been about politics has kicked me out after i say i'm conservative.  I believe this is the way the polls are so one sided.

I've experienced the same thing. As soon as I say I'm conservative or republican the survey closes.

I enjoy political surveys. I am an independent moderate who feels closer to the Democratic party so maybe that is why I am allowed to complete a lot.

A lot of the surveys are asking about the Democratic candidates but I have felt that some were looking for Republicans who like and approve of President Trump.

I agree.  I don't think they are all one-sided.  I am able to complete surveys that lean both liberal and conservative and I am honest about my stance.

I guess if someone dis-agrees with liberal views it makes you racist.  I'm a chritian conservative and I do this that are in line w/the bible not by how it makes me feel.

I usually bail on political surveys for reasons such as this. I know that there is no such thing as an unbiased political poll and that the questions can be worded to get certain answers and guarantee predetermined results. I won't be a part of that if I can help it.

Note: I think this probably happens and has happened on both sides of the aisle. I am not referring to any particular ideology.

Am I the only one who sees this as possibly a good thing?  Frustrating? YES  Biased? YES   Does it lead to corrupted poll results? YES


But it can also give the liberals a false sense of security. That is exactly how Donald Trump was able to [legitimately and fairly] win the 2016 election. The polls were falsely slanted toward Hillary and some people were afraid of the backlash they would bring upon themselves by admitting to being a Trump supporter. The resulting overwhelming poll numbers in support of Clinton were absolutely wrong. It was such a sure thing that some Hillary supporters decided to not vote.

So I say: I am a conservative and will tell you so if you give me the chance in a survey. But if you want to shut me up and ignore my input in order to achieve the false results you are looking for - just be careful with your November predictions when me and many others like me show up at the polls to cast the only ballot/opinion that really matters.

Same with me.  There has been one that was going and it was going pretty well even after declaring conservative.  It never came to a conclusion.  It might have been a Tap survey because I remember receiving credit.  For all I know that could have been full credit upon completion?

I completed surveys like this before. I actually have no political party but I lean more towards liberal progressive views which is the reason why I'm allowed to complete it.
