I use to say Saturday was my favorite day of the week when I was employed. However now that I am retired I enjoy everyday of the week as my favorite.

I like Thursday evening, because you can and are anticipating the weekend starting.

Saturday is family day. A big dinner, games, cards, fun with us all sitting around the table!

I was just thinking about this a couple of days ago, and thinking how much I love Mondays.  Being retired, days are all pretty much the same.  They all fly by with lightening speed, and I never seem to get as much accomplished in a week's time as I would like.  So when Monday comes around I feel like I have a new chance to be productive and start with a clean slate.  Things sure change as you get older.  When I was working, Thursday was the best day, because you knew Friday was near at hand!

I don't know why but I like Mondays.

My first job out of college was working four ten hour shifts Friday through Monday = so I loved Mondays and Fridays were a downer.  That was pretty weird as compared to the rest of the normal workweek folks!

I love everyday the Lord wakes me up, but my favorite day is Sunday, I go to church and I sing in the choir and the dinner with family.
