Disappearance of Jennifer Dulos in Connecticut
« on: July 03, 2019, 11:14:37 am »
Jennifer Dulos, mother of 5, left her fairly well off husband filing for divorce the very next day.  She described in her paperwork that her husband is threatening and violent at times. There is evidence of blood stains, blood spatter, and attempts of clean-up in the home which is human blood.  The husband had a girlfriend for a year and told Jennifer that he intended to move the girlfriend into their home.  The girlfriend and husband were seen getting rid of items which has now been reported to have blood on them. The defense is saying that Jennifer committed suicide or disappeared on purpose, as in the movie "Gone Girl." Is this defense incredulous or what? Have you heard about this case and what is your opinion?

Not offhand because it stresses me to read stories like this in the news some new one every day SO MUCH violence against women and children.  My opinion?  The husband killed this poor woman and I hope against hope he doesn't get by with it and is either made to rot the rest of his life in jail or is made to crawl to his execution on his hands and knees.  I have no sympathy for someone who takes the life of another especially one who kills someone that supposedly loved and left their five children without a mom.

Who knows? To many details missing? Is this a movie?

Seems like you may be better off getting a job, working hard, and having your own place.

This is not a movie!  This is a real-life case that has been going on for weeks now.  They haven't found Jennifer's body.
This kind of thing happens far too often, with either a child or a woman suddenly missing.

I had not heard anything about it.  Yeah things like this happen a lot.  I have heard the sex trafficking is really bad.  Suppose to be bad in my general area.  I will have to google her name.

If he done something to his wife the girlfriend better be careful because he will knock her off too if he gets tired of her and wants somebody younger or new.

It looks like another case of "domestic violence".
There are so many of them in this world.

I just googled it because I had not heard of this before. Sounds awfully familiar to the case we had here in Colorado last summer with Shannan Watts - and yes, it ended up being the husband that killed the missing woman and her kids. Truly disgusting.

It seems very similar except, thank God, the 5 children are all safe with the 85 year old grandmother, on the mother's side. They had a special on HLN yesterday about the case.  The author of "Gone Girl" actually responded to the defense that using her scenario to try to defend the husband is very disappointing to her. (I can't remember the exact wording the author used so maybe not "disappointing.")

I think a lot of times you have copycat stuff.
