Dems are sorry
« on: June 28, 2019, 07:17:52 am »
If somebody says they will tax me more, I will never vote for them.  Why isn't everyone like this?  Is Dems just glutten for punishment?

I live in Southern California & the taxes are insane & continually getting worse, it's no wonder why people are moving out in droves... Mitsubishi is the latest company moving out of California to a Republican controlled Tennessee, less taxes.

not only this topic not in the right board, but it is not appropriate for a site like this as it is political.... religion is also another topic best not discussed in forums like this

yes, it is on the wrong board.  It should be moved to the "Everything But Fusion Cash" board but controversial topics like politics and religion are allowed. I believe the "Not Fusion Cash" board says or used to say "Enter at your own risk"

bostonphil, I didn't mean the topics weren't allowed, just probably not the best topics for a site like this, but they are free to express their opinions

Because there are a LOT of people who are getting the free stuff and are not paying taxes.  And they will vote for them.  There are also a lot of people too stupid to realize the magnitude of higher taxes.  They believe the oh you will only pay a couple dollars more a month and look at all the deadbeats you will be helping.

I do not understand.  I hear people in California crying all the time about how horrible it is there and please help us.  HELP YOURSELF!  Vote these idiots out of office.  But they will overwhelmingly win in the next election.

There are tons of threads like this one.  Nobody is making you read it.  You knew by the topic that it would be about.

Actually, there is a board set up on FC for controversial discussions re religion, politics, etc etc. It is one of the first two boards that is labeled something like "Everything else that is Not Fusion Cash and it is stated "Enter at Your Own Risk".

UPDATE:  I went and found it. It is the Off-Topics board which comes before the Offers board and here is a copy of the description:  A place to have political, religious, and other divisive discussions. Enter at your own risk!

I love that Fusion Cash does this.

I meant to respond earlier . but got busy and them had to find this discussion.

I agree, Bostonphil.  This is the wrong board for that kind of post.  This thread is supposed to about offers.  I don't care for political discussions, which is why I stay away from Off Topic.  I've been guilty of posting to the wrong thread, so I understand how it can happen.  I would hope the original poster takes note and puts similar comments on the Off Topic board.

This is off-topic here. This needs to go to the off-topic section. It has nothing to do with surveys and offers here.

When I go to the "offers" section on the forum, I want to see new ways to make my 5 cents for PTC, not "off topic" posts like this.

I live in Southern California & the taxes are insane & continually getting worse, it's no wonder why people are moving out in droves... Mitsubishi is the latest company moving out of California to a Republican controlled Tennessee, less taxes.

I do not understand.  I hear people in California crying all the time about how horrible it is there and please help us.  HELP YOURSELF!  Vote these idiots out of office.  But they will overwhelmingly win in the next election.

They try, but like in the last election the Dems vote harvested & Republicans who actually won their congressional elections on election day were suddenly overtaken by a minimal margin by the Democrat candidate.  Doesn't happen the other way around, no Republican overtakes a Democrat days later.... it's so pathetic.  ALSO. we have top two primary vote getters go on the ballot... so you get two Democrats on the ballot & no Republicans... I've seen Twitter postings where they (Democrats) tell everyone to vote for the the second leading Democrat & not the leading Democrat so they would not have a Republican on the ballot.  I have not seen any coordination or strategy on the Republican side, they are just too passive.

Our new governor, Gavin Newsom, was declared the winner within 5 minutes after the polls closed.

I really don't hear anyone saying for anyone to help us - people just are moving to other states -- unfortunately even the conservatives in California are pretty liberal so they just "California" whatever state they move to... what is currently happening to Arizona.  The only way California can be helped is if the illegal immigration situation gets under control & unless the Feds close the border it's not going to be happen.
