I see deals all the time but it's always when I can't afford anything extra, which is mot of the time. I was looking for an item and found it for 75% off but after checking and balancing, still couldn't afford it. Oh, well. Maybe next time.

That is the good thing about having a credit card.  You may not have it that day but as long as you pay the balance before the due date you don't pay interest.

Sometimes, I find good deals on Facebook Market Place but more often at thrift stores or consignment shop; it is great when we can find what we need  at a fraction of the cost.

 :confused1:it's very common.  I am always borrowing from peter to pay paul.  So I just decided somethings just aren't worth that effort.  I am at a stage in my life that I am ok, doing with out extras.

I have not found any huge deals lately and to be honest rarely find any. If I find anything that is a deal it's most likely to be on ebay though. I like to listen to audiobooks and have gotten a few that are about 20% cheaper than elsewhere. One time I found a rare book I wanted that cost over 50% less on ebay too. I prefer amazon's customer service, but haven't seen many deals there for the things I want.

Is eBay not used stuff? Like an online yard sale?  They do not have new stuff like Amazon do they?  I have never used the site or even really looked at it.  I had heard a long time ago it was like an online yard sale. A way to sell your old stuff.
