« on: June 13, 2019, 04:09:00 pm »
:dog:  Anybody besides me absoluteley detest the "new" yahoo mail frmat?  I kept ignoring the little pop ups that I needed to switch to the new format they finally forced it on me.  Oh well.

I really do not care about the new yahoo mail format. I like the classic version better.

I have not noticed a new format.  I think it may have rolled out a long time ago and some were on the beta and now everyone is forced to be a part of the new way.  I must have been on the beta plan.

I was helping a friend on his computer and he was talking about it being different and fussing at me telling me he wants it changed back. I told him "I can't change yahoo!"

I dpm't use yahoo on a regular basis so don't knowabout any new format.  Maybe that is good because then I won't be comparing it to the old one  ;)

Are y'all talking about emails?  Or the Yahoo home page?  I am not noticing anything different.  I must have been a part of the beta thing.  Unless something major changed since last night. haha

I don't  pay too much  attention to it.  But the way they do the  e-mails is quite different. After I got used to  it , it was ok. Hubby still has a little problem. But he just  calls me.

When yahoo mail changed after their hacking experience, I hated the change, stuff wouldn’t work, I couldn’t find what I needed in my mail, spontaneous deletion so I stopped using it for a while until later on when things cooled down for yahoo after they got hacked and yahoo made a new app for my iOS phone.  I hated and still hate that yahoo took away the direct app feature on iOS and choose to make a stand alone yahoo mail app for iOS.

After all said and done, I was able to get the new yahoo mail app through an offer and glad I choose to get it, it’s not my most used mail anymore though but at least I can access my old email which does get new emails, just not as a high of a priority.

I will not switch to the new Yahoo email system because
I like the old system and I am very familiar with it.

You most likely will not have a choice.

I'm not a big fan of Yahoo to start with.  If I knew then what I know now I would never have signed up with an account.

I've moved most of my more important mail to gmail and outlook.  I prefer both of those.

As far as a new format is concerned with Yahoo, all I can say is, here we go again.     ::)

What is wrong with yahoo?
All of them update and change from time to time.
I have never had any issues with them.

I am ok with the new yahoo. However, the old one was better. We just have to accept the change and get use to it.
