No but idiots have been shooting fire crackers in the area for several days already.

I would probably be one of those idiots.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE fireworks.  I go to as many as I can find and we used to choot them off all t he time.

Fireworks can be cool but not when there set off in groves just to annoy your neighbors. But they can be fun to light off

I love the fireworks and usually enjoy it every year on our military base in the area.  I just hate the traffic afterwards trying to get home.

My older sister's coming for 4th of July, I dread it because, my nieces like her better than me. I have to beg for love while she get's it for free! Can't stand the fire crackers & the mess that is left behind by the careless uncaring neighbors!

I don't have a problem with fire works as long as they are far enough from my home that I don't hear them.

Unfortunately that is not the case and every year, we hear all the banging and booming.  It scares my pets and upsets me and my husband. Every year they seem to get louder and more obnoxious.

I dread 4th of July.  It's great our city has fireworks and we have a huge amusement park that sets them off also.  What I hate is the fireworks, small cannon shooting and the yelling and screaming from neighbors enjoying setting them off.  Just go to one of the two places that are free and watch them there, not close to my house!

You and I are on the same page in regards to fireworks.  I am tired of the loud ones being set off haphazardly in the neighborhood.  There are babies, sick people, people who have to work second and third shift, and people with animals who are terrified of them.  Go to the designated places for a fireworks show and let it alone!

Fireworks for the 4th of July was once having a great time.  Now you have the stupid idiots blowing bomb like fireworks.  Also blowing up these things well into the night when it should end at a decent time.

Neighbors in a our apartment complex buy fireworks that are smaller and easier to handle and blow them up in our parking lot. In our neighborhood with the right vantage point I can also see fireworks to the sides of us that are further away. Usually people start a week or two before the 4th and it doesn't end until at least a week after. Our cities local fireworks are televised at the riverfront live and are the real thing with music choreographed to the spectacular display. I've never been to a real event though.
