I have not been around a survey asking me for a donation. If I did, I would avoid donating and get the DQ bonus instead.

I have not seen that one, I am sure I would opt not to do.

The funny thing is the people behind these surveys take the answers to heart and expect this to be the outcome and when it isn't scream well people surveyed said this.  You do not know the people surveyed told you the truth.  People are getting more and more to where they are not as vocal about who they vote for.

There are quite a few Trump supporters out there who are afraid to say so publicly out of fear of being labeled a racist homophobic *bleep*. Many will not be caught dead in a MAGA hat or admit in a survey or exit poll that they voted for him or intend to vote for him. But when it comes time for the secret ballot that really matters, the Trump box gets checked by many of these folks.

Wow! See my above post. The forum is "*bleep* censoring" the word for the German political party from World War II era.

I assume it was a survey that was available through FC? If so, just based on your description, I would be wary to participate. Why complete a survey and then be asked to donate to a cause? Something is just not kosher here.

I wouldn't participate in a survey which asked for money.

I think I saw something about that a while ago.  I wish I could remember where I saw it.

I would never complete a survey that asked for a donation. Sounds like a scam.

Has anyone else come across the political survey about a current issue that asks for a donation?  Actually, I'm not really 100% sure it was asking. It may have been merely setting up a scenario where you "pretended" you are giving the donation.  I was curious and went forward a couple of pages just to see if I could figure it out.  The more I read, the more I got cold feet and opted out.  I don't think I've ever seen a survey quite like that.
Hmmmmm....that's weird and crazy! Where was this survey? I don't think I've ever had one like that, but have certainly had plenty of political surveys. If this one didn't pay, I'm glad I never came across it!

I got this one too. I can't go into details about the donation as it might be survey content. However, I decided that no amount of money would be worth that. So I chose no. FWIW, I did complete the survey and get credit for it without the donation. YMMV

That's very interesting that you were able to complete the survey and get your credit even though you chose not to donate.  I guess I wasn't brave enough to try. As my granddaughter is apt to say about such a situation, it just looked "sketchy" to me!

Wow! I haven't seen that one yet, but glad to have the info so if I run across it I can close it and move on.

This is how it is in California, people have to hide who they are voting for...  it is all so tiresome, when did our country become this, so intolerant of differing opinions.

I got a phone call asking political questions. I answered a few then the guy asked for a 25.00 donation. I know I sweared at him and hung up fast.
