Severe weather for the midwest...
« on: May 28, 2019, 10:38:11 am »
It seems like there's been storm after storm in the midwest the past couple of weeks, I saw some flooding and tornado aftermath on the news this morning. Sounds like it's been a rough May for the plains.. has anyone here been impacted?

Our farmers can't get in the fields to plant because of rain and flooding of farm lands. Our basement flooded, but we haven't been hit by any tornadoes....yet.

It's been too wet for the farmers to get into the fields to plant.  Acre after acre are black mud, many with "rivers" or "ponds" in them where we should have row after row of corn.

Omaha, NE, got hit with hail last night/early morning.  I heard some places had 18" of hail piled up.

Well prayers for the midwest.  I am in central florida and it won't be long until we are in the throes of hurricane season so I am praying proactively that we don't have any bad ones this year.

We have had a lot of rain but not so much thunder and lightning and that's my favorite part.  So, I'm a little bummed about missing the thunder and lightning.

Been watching it on tv. Here in ca had unusual rainy weather for a few days last week.   Think the rain is done for awile.  Hope it doesn't get really hot.
