If I remember right, to get it back, you do not hit the save button. It doesn't make sense, but I have lost mine before too, and I remember I had to ask other members what to do to get it back. Not hitting "save" did the trick! I have no idea why though!!

I wish I had more time to work on it every month, maybe I will when I'm officially retired, but that's a ways off. FC is for sure one of the very best!

In my personal opinion, it goes beyond one of the best, to the very best. I have been here over a decade and never found any other similar site that does any better.

I participate on many of these types of site and have been for years. I estimate I only earn about $1,000 per year in cash and gift cards but it is better than nothing. Compared to a real job- sure, it is low pay for the time spent, but I would be sitting in front of the computer anyway doing something else that doesn't pay so it is better than nothing.

This is one of the more reliable sites out there. Granted, there can always be room for improvement but FC has definitely found a winning formula.

The people who are requesting $15 an hour are idiots.  You have no skills and no education you are not going to make $15 an hour.

And sit at home doing surveys has nothing to do with that.  This is not a real job.  And it will never pay comparable.  Not doing surveys and reading 2 cent emails.

It's more than just that I think. The vast majority of the users who post "This is a scam! I'm leaving! :::butthurt:::" messages gets countless replies from us regulars - but they are already gone and never see any of the helpful advice. It's a real shame actually.


Someone gets frustrated because a survey DQ'd them after they spent a considerable amount of time; or they didn't carefully read and understand the 180 day $ expiration rule; or they encounter some other negative scenario where they feel like they have wasted their time... If they are savvy enough to find the forum (which isn't THAT hard to do), it's really easy and a bit cathartic to let off some steam in a nasty/negative forum post before leaving FC forever - none the wiser that they are literally walking away from easy easy money.


How many of us have experienced at least the DQ survey frustration and wanted to scream out loud about it? I know I have. Even in knowing that the site is not a scam, I have had frustration to that extreme. It's too bad that there isn't a way to force these one and done forum posters to receive and read the advice from successful FC'ers.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my post, but this isn't about how much money I am making on this site.  The reason I think it's a scam is because in order to receive my payment in a check I have to verify with my phone number; however, every time I try it never goes through (I always get an error or nothing).  I came across instructions on 'how to alternatively get paid via check', which consists of submitting a fax with copy of school transcripts or some crap.  It shouldn't be this difficult! I don't care that I am not making tons of money o this site, that's not why I am disappointed. I am glad to hear from a lot of you that it is a legit site, but I need to experience that for myself and it hasn't happened yet... I am just very frustrated.  Is there anyone here who has had issues receiving their payment by check? If so, what did you do to resolve this?

... and then I went back and discovered this and realized I was jumping to my own incorrect conclusions as to this particular user.  OP actually took the time to say thank you to those who offered help/proof that FC was not a scam.  There's some egg on my face!
